At Synergy, we offer a wide range of injectables to enhance your appearance and bring out your natural beauty. We use many of these treatments in combination to maximize the overall results. Generally, injectables require minimal downtime while providing visible benefits for months.
Botox
The most popular cosmetic procedure in the US, Botox injections are highly effective against fine lines and wrinkles. Botox contains a neurotoxic drug made from Botulinum toxin that temporarily paralyzes the muscle, resulting in a smoother appearance. Medical use of Botox traces back to the 1970s, making it one of the most safe and effective injectables. Treatments take just 15 minutes and the benefits last anywhere from 3-12 months.
Dermal Fillers
As we age, our skin loses volume and elasticity which contributes to how “old” our skin looks. Dermal filler technology is better than ever – replacing lost volume in the face, lips, and hands with very natural looking results. In our office we utilize several different types of filler depending on the application, primarily from Juvederm and Radiesse. Injectable fillers plump up the skin, smoothing deep set creases and contouring the face for a more youthful appearance. Plus, results can last 6-12 months!
Kybella
This unique injectable specifically targets submental fat (fat under the chin, or “double chin”). Many factors contribute to the possibility of someone developing submental fat, including age, genetics, and weight gain. The primary ingredient in Kybella, Deoxycholic acid, breaks down the cells in fatty tissue resulting in a more defined jawline. Typically, we recommend 4-6 injections spaced one month apart.
PDO Threads
Short for “Polydioxanone,” PDO Threads provide a great alternative to traditional facelift surgery. During this procedure, we place biodegradable polyester sutures just underneath the skin. As a result, the skin appears lifted and more toned. Plus, the placement encourages your body to send collagen and elastin to the site. We most commonly use PDO Threads around the cheeks, neck, jaw, and eyes. Threads are often combined with other cosmetic procedures to further enhance your results. Visible results last 6 months to a year.
